Terms of Service & Audio Rights Policy

What this service is

LightSync Studio creates custom light show sequence files (.fseq) compatible with the Tesla custom light show feature, packaged with your audio into a USB-ready download. You describe the show you want; we produce and deliver the files.

LightSync Studio is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla vehicle compatibility depends on your vehicle model, software version, and Tesla's own feature availability, which can change at any time and is outside our control.

Audio rights policy

Your final package may include a downloadable audio file. Because of that, we only package audio that is:

• uploaded by you with your confirmation that you own it or are authorized to use it;
• created by you or commissioned for this purpose;
• properly licensed for reproduction and delivery; or
• public domain or royalty-free under terms that allow reproduction and delivery.

By checking the rights acknowledgement on the order form, you confirm your uploaded audio meets one of these conditions. We do not supply commercial songs, and we may decline or refund any order where audio rights are unclear.

Orders, payment, and delivery

• Payment is collected at order time through Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.
• Automated starter packages are typically generated shortly after your audio upload. Hand-built shows follow the timeline discussed for your order.
• Delivery is a ZIP download containing a LightShow folder with matching .fseq and audio files, retrieved with your order ID or download code.
• If a show cannot be produced for your request, we will contact you and refund the payment.

Use at your own discretion

You are responsible for using light shows safely and legally — on private property, respecting local noise and light regulations, and following Tesla's on-screen instructions for the light show feature. Files are provided as-is; we recommend testing your USB drive before any event.

If you opt in to moving parts on the order form, your show will fold and unfold the side mirrors, oscillate the windows, and open the charge port door during the finale. Doors, frunk, and trunk are never commanded. You are responsible for running the show only with open clearance around the vehicle.
